Heffy Doodle Turns 1 Blog Hop|It’s Time to Party!

Hi Everyone! It’s time to party, Heffy Doodle turns 1 today, hooray! To celebrate we have a fabulous line up, I’m seriously blown away. Thanks so much for hopping along!

I started by creating an A2 sized stitched rectangle using Clover Frames and Bristol Smooth card stock. For the main sentiment “Happy B-Day” from Big Bold Words, I heat set white embossing powder in the centre of the card front. Next, I blended Distress Oxide Inks in Wilted Violet and Worn Lipstick activating with water. For added detail I stamped confetti and finished off the sentiment by stamping “party” directly on to the card front.

I stamped the main image with Versafine Onyx Black Ink on Bristol card stock and colored using Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers.

To finish off the card I added vellum balloons that were heat set with Wow Cloud 9 Embossing Powder, a sentiment strip and coordinating sequins.
