Hi everyone, I’m super excited to be hopping along with Pear Blossom Press! Today’s card features out of this world cuties that would brighten up any day!
IÂ started by creating the card front and ink blended Distress Oxide Inks in Chipped Sapphire, Wilted Violet and Black Soot. Once I was happy with the blend, I added water droplets for the ink to react and white gel pen details.
Next, I stamped and coloured in the main images from You’re Weird by Heffy Doodle using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and Spectrum Noir TriBlend Markers. The coordinating dies come with an awesome interior die that cuts little circles in the spaceship, perfect for interactive light-up cards.
Building the card base was super easy using the Pear Blossom Press Power Pack. After I figured out where the lights needed to be, I put down copper tape and an LED sticker making sure the +/- lined up.
To finish off the card I added 3D foam tape, coordinating sequins and Diamond Stickles.
